Sustainable investing in circular economy projects of varying risk and scale

The investment funds managed by AJP Capital invest in circular economy projects of varying risk and scale. The projects must meet criteria for environmentally sustainable investments set forth by Regulation (EU) 2020/852 of the European Parliament and of the Council.

The funds invest in the private capital and debt instruments issued by companies fully or partially owned by the relevant fund.

In individual cases the funds may invest in high yield debt instruments issued by unrelated companies, the operation of which meet the investment criteria of the fund.

SOLAR CORE PLUS KS

SOLAR CORE PLUS KS is a closed-ended alternative investment fund managed by SIA AJP Capital AIFP. The fund qualifies as a financial product with a sustainable investment objective within the meaning of Article 9 of the Sustainable Finance Disclosure Regulation (SFDR). The fund aims to contribute to the reduction of greenhouse gas emissions by investing in solar photovoltaic energy projects. Investments are primarily made in companies involved in the development and operation of solar energy infrastructure. Where applicable, the fund assesses the alignment of investments with relevant EU Taxonomy environmental objectives and considers environmental, social and governance (ESG) factors as part of the investment process.

The fund has invested in seven solar energy projects:

SIA ProMC 1 (Brocēni SES), SIA ProMC 2 (Aizkraukle SES), SIA ProMC 3 (Jelgava SES), SIA AJP Solar 1 (Dobele SES), SIA AJP Solar 3 (Ilūkste SES) projects implemented under “PV POWER”. “PV POWER” is ajoint venture founded by group of companies “AJ Power” and two funds – “Solar Core Plus” and “BaltCap” infrastructure fund.
